Our Church is one of the finest examples of Norman architecture in Britain. It has been in existence in its current form since 1150 and there is evidence of a Saxon place of worship in the foundations of the current building.

Tim Gill is the Rector of Adel and his contact details are found on the new site in the 'contact us' section
Doorknocker We are pleased to announce that a replica of the stolen 13th century bronze-cast Sanctuary Ring was fixed to the South Door of Adel. This has been made over a number of months by local craftsmen employing techniques that would have been used nearly 800 years ago. The PCC is still offering a reward for information that leads to recovering this treasure of Adel and part of the national heritage.
Access times to the Church Please note that if you are intending to visit our church it is kept locked except for Services and every Wednesday for visitors and prayer 10am - 1pm and Thursdays from 1pm - 5pm
