The ancient tradition of ‘Beating the Bounds' will take place on Sunday 9th May starting at 9am from Adel Stables, Back Church Lane. This is a circular walk of 15 miles ending back at about 4.30pm at Adel Stables for tea.

We take the Meanwood Valley Trail from Stairfoot Lane to the Ring Road, passing Adel Seven Arches. Then we follow the west boundary footpaths to Paul’s Pond and expect to be at Golden Acre Café at 12 noon. The next section via Bank Top gives great views across Wharfedale and around Eccup Reservoir.
