Trees at Paul's Pond

I was recently approached by a local resident who raised a number of issues about the work around Paul's Pond. In précis, they were:

Adel Horticultural Society - 50th Spring Flower Show

On Saturday the 16th April the society will hold its 50th Spring Flower show at the Adel Methodist Hall, which will be opened by the well known plantsman Joe Maiden.

This is a good opportunity to enjoy an afternoon amongst spring flowers and also to admire the beautiful flower and foliage arrangements exhibited. There are arts and crafts and children's handwriting classes.

There will be a plant stall where you will be able to purchase plants for your garden. Refreshments of tea, coffee and homemade cake at very low prices.

The Hall will be open from 2.15pm for members of the public and the entrance fee is 50p children and members free.

Look forward to seeing you there
